Feedback from travellers around the world
This was an excellent experience. Martin was very informative and took us to spots I never would have found on my own. His knowledge of Market Garden was amazing!! A warm and kind person too I might add.

Martin is the best kind of guide for Holocaust history - incredibly knowledgeable but also compassionate and thoughtful. He smoothly adapted the day's tour to suit our particular interests

Martin was so full of information and so passionate about this tour that you really feel a part of the history while being there. We saw lots of sights that other tours do not show you. If you only go on one tour while in Holland consider this one, you will not be disappointed.

Planning a private historical journey? Here are some of the questions guests often ask before travelling.
Are all your journeys private?
Yes, when you book journey with me you and your companion(s) will be the only guests travelling that day.
Can journeys be customized?
Yes, absolutely. You can contact me before we travel and on the day itself we will travel at your pace and with your interests in mind. It's your day!
Do you only focus on WWII history?
No. While WWII and remembrance are central themes, journeys can also include Dutch history, hidden stories, landscapes, culture and personal heritage.
Are multi-day journeys possible?
Yes. Multi-day journeys are one of the best ways to explore history in greater depth, with flexible pacing and fully customized routes. Look at my 'standard'offerings or get in touch to create your own journey.
Can you help with family history research?
Yes. Family history journeys are one of our specialties. We regularly help guests trace wartime stories, family locations, graves and Dutch ancestral connections. And if you want to know more about your ancestors from older times we would love to help as well!
